affair. just don't ask the family about it. i'm dennis o'donnell. jim harbaugh has a dream about kaepernick, but the ending might surprise you. look, if you have copd like me you know it can be hard to breathe, and how that feels. copd includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema. spiriva helps control my copd symptoms by keeping my airways open for 24 hours. plus, it reduces copd flare-ups. spiriva is the only once-daily inhaled copd maintenance treatment that does both. spiriva handihaler tiotropium bromide inhalation powder does not replace fast-acting inhalers for sudden symptoms. tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, glaucoma, trouble urinating, or an enlarged prostate. these may worsen with spiriva. discuss all medicines you take, even eye drops. stop taking spiriva and seek immediate medical help if your breathing suddenly worsens your throat or tongue swells, you get hives, vision changes or eye pain or problems passing urine. other side effects include dry mouth and constipation. nothing can reverse copd. spiriva helps me breathe better. seem to be a harbaugh weak point. his well known sideline intensity is part of 49ers legend. >> we are excited when he is yelling at the referee. >> reporter: it's something the players say they don't just hear, they feel it. does it give you an edge? >> absolutely. he gets fired up, i think everybody gets fired up. we sue your head coach out there running around banging on guys, that's what you want to see to get you ready to go. >> his energy is so high. he keeps it that way. and it's a good thing because we can all feed off it. >> reporter: and one thing coach harbaugh told his players today, ken, he wants them to enjoy the competition of the game which is really what it's all about when the ball gets kicked off and they go up and down the field and they start banging heads together, he wants them to enjoy the intensity of that competition, the championship of professional football. >> yeah. so many teams never get back. better enjoy while you're there. len ramirez in santa clara, thank you. >>> and the box office at candlestick park was a hub of 9ers fan activity for one last t

spirited conversation with jim harbaugh, something like just give me the ball, will you? he went on to score two touchdowns, including the game winner. >> nobody does it better than frank gore. and sometimes we do have conversations on the sideline, and what he sees, what he thinks will work, and we bat it around. sometimes during the game. >> a guy like frank gore, who either you know busted his butt for a long time. he deserves to be in the spotlight. you know, everybody deserves to know not just how great he's been this year and last year but when he came into the league in 2005. >>> did the raiders' coach sabotage their last super bowl appearance 10 years ago? yes, according to one former star receiver. tim brown says head coach bill callahan was essentially playing to lose against the bucks coach and friend john gruden. bucks crushed the raiders 48- 21. brown said callahan changed the game plan from a running based offense to a pass game and he did twit days prior to the super bowl, something that's very uncommon, especially before such a big game. >> the guys talking about sabota

where we have our live van parked. apparently coach harbaugh was concerned about our mast cam on the top of our transmission mast up there. [ pause ] >>> reporter: there he was the most sought after man in america walking into the 49ers locker room as if it is just another day on the job. one high five and a fanny slap later, he was walking into the biggest media scrum since the days of joe montana and steve young, big names he hopes to join if he can win just one more game. >> hey, colin, what is it like to wake up as colin kaepernick these days? >> uhm, i mean, it's the same as it was six months ago. >> reporter: maybe not exactly. he was a mostly unknown backup quarterback then not on the cover of "sports illustrated" and no one had yet heard of kaepernicking. the post-touchdown bicep- kissing act might soon be his trademark literally. his agent filed a copyright on kaepernicking which the said is an act of defiance and faith since he is kissing religious tatoos. >> number one is kind of my way of saying, i don't really care what people think about my tatoos. i got them for me

controversy including jim harbaugh? that's coming up a little bit later on. allen, you need a pen? >> forget the pens. you're getting free jambalaya? >> you know the media. you know how the media operates. free food? we're all over it. >> thank you. >>> dennis is going to bring us live reports from new orleans all week. vern glenn, michelle griego, also there. and in a few minutes, we are going to hear from mike sugerman, who is on the road to new orleans tonight. >>> new at 6:00, we are in the middle of a particularly nasty flu season. this year, many bay area hospitals are strictly enforcing a new mandate that healthcare workers get flu shots or wear a mask at work. cbs 5 reporter ann notarangelo shows us how it's working. >> reporter: prior to this year if you worked in healthcare in contra costa county, getting the flu shot was voluntary but this year the county health department mandated employees either get the shot or -- >> or while they are working in patient care areas to wear a surgical mask. >> reporter: at sutter delta medical center in antioch, as of november 96% of the staff go
